What are Choicer Voicer packs?

The Choicer Voicer is a voice-impression game show for Windows and Linux: hear a clip, imitate it into your microphone, and a panel of computer judges scores you. The catch is that the game ships with almost nothing to perform — the developer calls it "a blank canvas that requires getting content from elsewhere." Choicer Voicer packs are that content.

A pack is just a folder of audio files (plus a video and a timing file, for the newer Dub Mode). Drop it into the right game folder and your show gains new scenes to dub, new judges to impress, new hosts and menu voices. Over a thousand packs appeared in the last month alone, and this index of Choicer Voicer packs keeps up — searchable by name, filterable by category, and every download happens on GameBanana, where authors keep their credit.

Some context

The Choicer Voicer packs boom

Not long ago this game had almost nothing to perform. Then Dub Mode landed in version 0.5, streamers like Vinesauce turned it into a clip factory, and every viral clip sent viewers hunting for the scene they had just watched. Nine out of every ten packs ever published are dub scenes now, and most of them showed up in the last month — the community is basically writing a new episode of the show every day, and new Choicer Voicer packs keep landing to prove it.

Two tips from watching all of this unfold. First, search before you assume a scene doesn't exist — it probably does. Second, short packs win at parties: one to three minutes, then on to the next. And if watching everyone else perform makes you want to publish Choicer Voicer packs of your own, the guides below walk you through it. All you need is a folder, a microphone and an afternoon.

Choicer Voicer packs FAQ

Where can I get Choicer Voicer packs?

Every legitimate Choicer Voicer pack lives on GameBanana, where creators upload their own work. This site is a searchable index of that entire section — our pack index lists them all, and every card links straight to the pack's official GameBanana download page, with the author credited. The developer also gives away nine free meme dub packs on the game's itch.io page.

How do I install Choicer Voicer packs?

Download the ZIP from GameBanana, extract it, and drop the folder into the game's packs_voice folder (voice packs) or dub folder (dub packs), then restart the game. The most common mistake is a double-nested folder. Our step-by-step installation guide covers Windows and Linux plus every "pack doesn't show up" fix.

Are Choicer Voicer packs free?

Yes — every community pack on GameBanana is free, and so are the developer's nine official meme packs. The game itself costs $5 (pay what you want) on itch.io. If you want to play without paying at all, the official free No Gameplay Demo and the browser-based Voxalike are covered on our play free page.

What's the difference between dub packs and voice packs?

Voice packs are audio-only content — judges, hosts, contestants and menu voices that go in the packs_voice folder. Dub packs are the newer Dub Mode format (game version 0.5+): a video scene plus per-line audio that you re-voice live, installed to the dub folder. Our dub packs and voice packs pages break each format down.

How do I make my own Choicer Voicer pack?

A voice pack is just a folder of audio clips — and our free Voice Pack Maker packages one in your browser, no uploads. A dub pack adds an OGV video and an INI timing file. Our dub pack creation guide walks through scene selection, ffmpeg conversion, per-line audio cuts, timing metadata and publishing to GameBanana.

Why is my microphone not working in The Choicer Voicer?

It's a known Godot engine bug, not your fault — the official community has a pinned thread with over a hundred replies. Test your hardware with our free browser mic test, then work through the microphone fix guide: OS permissions, default input device, sample rate, and the official free No Gameplay Demo.

Can I play Choicer Voicer online or on mobile?

The official game is Windows/Linux only, with no online multiplayer or mobile version. But Voxalike — a free browser game by an independent developer — is compatible with Choicer Voicer packs, has online co-op and PVP, and runs in mobile browsers. It's embedded on our play free page.

Are these packs official?

No. With the exception of the nine free meme packs the developer published on itch.io, all Choicer Voicer packs are fan-made by community creators on GameBanana — and this site itself is an unofficial fan-made index, not affiliated with the developer. Every pack card links back to its author's original page.
